About Us

Some stories begin with recipes, others with gardens. Ours begins with both.

Welcome. I’m so glad you’re here.

My name is Alexandra, and I’m the founder of IVA PLANTS, a small independent brand rooted in nature, tradition and care. This journey started with a deep family connection to herbs and plants, passed down through generations of women in my family. From my great-grandmother to my mother, knowledge about natural remedies, gentle rituals and the healing power of herbs shaped our everyday life.
IVA Plants was born from that heritage. What began as a quiet passion grew into a way to share something meaningful: honest ingredients, thoughtful blends and a deep respect for the natural world.

IVA Plants was born from that heritage. What began as a quiet passion grew into a way to share something meaningful: honest ingredients, thoughtful blends and a deep respect for the natural world.
At IVA PLANTS, we specialise in herbal teas, crafted with natural ingredients and inspired by generations of knowledge passed through my family. These blends are at the heart of what we do: soothing, invigorating and thoughtfully made to support everyday wellbeing.
Alongside our herbal collection, we also offer Ceylon black teas and Japanese green teas, each sourced with care and selected for their depth of flavour, purity and origin. Whether you’re reaching for a calming herbal infusion, a bold black tea or a smooth green, our teas are made to bring a sense of balance and quiet joy to your day.
Every product is made without artificial flavourings, sweeteners or preservatives. Just clean, honest ingredients, blended to be both delicious and grounding.

We work with growers and producers who share our values. These are people committed to ethical practices, quality and sustainability.
  • In Japan, we partner with a 350-year-old family farm in Wazuka, Kyoto, where tea is grown without pesticides or synthetic fertilisers.
  • In Sri Lanka, our Ceylon black tea comes from a small independent garden where every leaf is handpicked for flavour and character.
  • In England, we work with a trusted herb grower and supplier who provides us with carefully selected botanicals. Some of these are cultivated locally, while others come from well-established European farms with a focus on purity and consistency.
Every ingredient we use is chosen with care to ensure flavour, freshness and integrity in every cup.
At IVA PLANTS, we believe tea is more than just a drink. It is a ritual, a pause, a quiet connection to nature. We honour tradition while embracing simplicity, crafting teas that support both body and mind.
Always fresh. Always natural. That’s not just a motto. It is how we approach everything we do.

Our story began with tea, but it doesn’t end there. As our journey continues, we remain inspired by family traditions that span centuries and generations. With deep roots in nature and nourishment, we’re always exploring new ways to share what we love.
At the moment, we’re quietly working on something close to the heart — a creation inspired by ancestral knowledge that dates back to the 1690s. For over 300 years, this tradition has been part of my family through the paternal line, passed down from those who lived in harmony with the land and believed in the value of real, honest food.
We’re currently testing this special recipe and hope to share more very soon, including opportunities to experience it before it officially launches.
Thank you for being here. Let’s steep something beautiful together.
