Genmaicha is a Sencha green tea combined with toasted and puffed rice. The infusion has a bright, golden colour, and the toasted rice contributes a caramelised aftertaste, offering a soft, sweet finish. Our Genmaicha Japanese green tea is a blend of high-quality premium sencha and genmai, distinguishing it from typical bancha-based Genmaicha.
Brewing Guidelines:
Infusion temperature: 60-70 °C
Steeping time: 2-3 minutes
Quantity: Use 1 teaspoon per 300ml
